Introducing "The Lead with ASABE" Podcast Series

St. Joseph, Mich.—Members of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), engineers in the agriculture industry, and those with an interest in science and technology can now receive information about the Society’s initiatives and focus areas through the “The Lead with ASABE” podcast.

“We’re really excited to offer a podcast for our members,” says Keith Tinsey, PE, director of operations, Black Gold Farms and ASABE president, 2022–2023. “This is an important step in expanding our communication offerings for ASABE members and stakeholders.”

The first seven episodes of the “The Lead with ASABE” podcast cover the following topics:

  • Introduction of the podcast, state of the ASABE organization, and state of the agricultural and biological engineering profession
  • Davidson Prize and AE50 award winners
  • Technology needs in developing countries and ASABE’s Alliance to Modernize African Agrifood Systems initiative
  • The circular bioeconomy and the Society’s Circular Bioeconomy Systems initiative
  • Student activities in ASABE
  • Standards
  • Young Professionals Community 20th anniversary

“We wanted to choose topics for this first set of episodes that would reach a broad swath of ASABE members and their interest areas,” Tinsey adds.
